Third Eye Chakra: The Gateway to Our Intuition and Insight

The Third Eye Chakra is the 6th Chakra in the system and is located in the centre of the forehead, just above the eyebrows. This Chakra is often associated with the colour Indigo and is connected to our intuition, perception and insight.

The concept of chakras can be traced back to ancient Indian texts, including the Vedas and Upanishads. These texts describe the existence of energy centres, or "wheels," within the body. The word "chakra" itself is derived from the Sanskrit word for "wheel" or "circle." Chakras are believed to be spinning wheels of energy that run along the spine, from the base to the crown of the head. Each chakra is associated with specific physical, emotional, and spiritual qualities, and they work together to maintain balance and harmony in our lives. Among the seven primary chakras, the Third Eye Chakra stands out as the centre of intuition, insight, and spiritual wisdom.

The Third Eye Chakra: An Overview

The Third Eye Chakra, also known as Ajna in Sanskrit. This chakra is considered the seat of wisdom and inner vision, allowing us to see beyond the physical realm and gain a deeper understanding of our experiences.
